Coaching and consulting through icebreakers

Recently, I helped a colleague plan icebreakers for a 1/2 day retreat.  After we explored what she was looking for from the icebreakers, who was going to be at the retreat, how the icebreakers fit into the larger retreat goals, I suggested a few icebreakers.  She took my suggestions and made them even better!  After thinking about things for a few days, returning to her committee, and thinking about it a bit more, she came up with a new plan.  This plan incorporated all the things she wanted, was time appropriate, and topic appropriate, and she left feeling able to facilitate the icebreakers.  It was a true pleasure to assist her in revealing her strengths and how she could assist her group in getting stronger.
